We try our best to eat right, but did you know there’s a right time to eat those healthy foods?

Do you eat five to six meals a day? Or are you just a three meal eater?

Is your way still working for you?

Maybe it’s about time to experiment and switch it up.  See if you notice a difference.

Did you know that we metabolize the best when the sun is highest in the sky?

Maybe it’s about time to experiment with a larger meal at lunch and a lighter meal at dinner.

Did you also know that when the sun rises, our metabolism does too?

And between 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. our metabolism decreases.  So that mid-afternoon snack of peanut M&Ms are not being digested and metabolized well because our body is going into its rest cycle.

So if our metabolism is the best at the sun’s highest time, it’s safe to say that is working pretty slowly during that late-night snacking.

If you’d like to have more energy during the day, metabolize and digest your food well, then experiment this week.

Between 6:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. — Have a more substantial breakfast – include at least three food groups making sureclock one of those is an essential fat (oils, avocado), flax seeds, nut butters, etc.

Between Noon and 1:30 p.m. – Have a larger lunch by increasing your current lunch by 10 percent

At least four hours before bed – Have a healthy dinner by decreasing your dinner choices by 10-20 percent.

Breakfast as a king, lunch as a queen and dinner as a pauper…

And one more important thing…skipping meals slows our metabolism and the next meal you eat will be stored as fat because the body is nervous it’ll be starved again…Amazing thing this body we have.

As always, remember it’s about time we return to the heart.
